Homework Policy

Homework is set to encourage children to become independent learners, to practise skills and to reinforce work set in school. It doesn't always have to be written down, for example, it could be reading, playing a game or learning multiplication tables or spelling rules. Children are sometimes asked to research topics. Please encourage your child to present their findings in their own words rather than print a page from the Internet or copy a paragraph from a book. All pupils have homework diaries that parents can use to communicate with teachers.
